When a label changes colour on dyed fabric, identify the conditions and stage at which it occurs. A photograph alone does not distinguish dye migration, a changed surface or lighting differences. Dye control describes the development objective and is not an absolute guarantee for every fabric. Confirm the construction through the order-specific sample.

- Actual fabric, colour, fabric code and lot details where available.
- Label position, dimensions and intended attachment method.
- An earlier affected sample, or a description of when the colour change appeared.
- Relevant processing, storage, washing and test conditions.
- Colour acceptance criteria and an approved reference sample.
