When to consider stretch reflective labels
On stretch apparel, a brand detail needs to be assessed with movement of the base fabric. A sample that looks good flat does not establish how the surface will look under extension or after recovery. Agree the extension, direction and repeat-test requirements for the exact design; the product name does not replace test data.

Review the logo and its position
Assess the label dimensions, principal extension direction and application position. Fine lettering, sharp corners and large solid panels need review at the intended finished size. Send vector artwork, the position on the pattern and actual fabric. The fabric's stated spandex content alone does not define the performance required of the label.
Approve a sample under the agreed extension
- Assess the outline and surface in the relaxed state.
- Extend in the agreed direction and check the surface and adhesion.
- Release the sample and assess recovery and remaining distortion.
- Repeat and complete care checks to the customer's agreed criteria.
- Record the fabric, label dimensions and conditions of the approved trial.
Send the required extension, direction and buyer test method along with the artwork, colours, fabric, quantities and dates.

Is there one stretch percentage for every fabric?
Confirm the material construction, artwork and exact fabric through sampling and the agreed test criteria.
Will a large logo behave the same as a small one?
Assess them separately. Panel dimensions, spaces in the artwork and extension direction should be reviewed on the actual fabric.
