Product details

High density PU labels create a raised effect for logos and graphics. Vu Thua develops samples to match the design, profile, colour, surface finish and intended fabric.

High density PU labels for raised logos

High density PU labels use a raised construction to give lettering and brand graphics a three-dimensional appearance. The raised edge and surface are developed around the artwork, final dimensions and application position.

The photographs on this page show a raised sample with a surface effect. Matte, gloss, metallic or multicolour effects can be reviewed when the material and construction allow. Options must be confirmed from a physical sample.

Balance the raised profile and fine details

  • Specify the logo size, line thickness and spaces between elements.
  • Indicate the required raised profile or provide a sample for reference.
  • Describe the colour and desired surface finish.
  • Identify folds, seams or other features near the application position.

A thicker profile is not automatically the best choice. The height and detail need to suit the logo size, desired flexibility and the finished product. Thin lettering or small gaps may require adjustment during development.

Applications and related labels

Raised PU logos can be considered for apparel, sportswear, bags, backpacks, footwear, caps and accessories. Areas with strong stretch or repeated folding require a trial on the actual product to assess suitability.

Information to confirm before sampling

  • Vector artwork and the finished width and height.
  • The desired profile, surface effect and colour reference.
  • Fabric composition, stretch, surface finish and label position.
  • Quantities by design and colour, packing instructions and delivery requirement.
  • The appearance and performance checks required for sample approval.

Development and approval

  1. Review the design and intended use with Vu Thua.
  2. Confirm the proposed profile, colour and finish.
  3. Develop a sample and assess the shape and surface.
  4. Trial the label on the intended fabric or product.
  5. Approve the sample and application method before bulk production.

Check the label after application

Check positioning, the raised shape, edges and adhesion, together with any effect of application heat on the fabric. Confirm temperature, time, pressure and peel method for the approved construction. Dark dyed fabrics and special finishes require their own sample assessment; stretch should be checked under the intended use conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Can a raised PU label have a metallic effect?

A metallic or multicolour surface can be reviewed when the material and artwork are suitable. Approve the physical sample because viewing angle and light affect appearance.

What raised height should we choose?

Choose the profile together with logo size, line thickness, flexibility and the application position. There is no single height suitable for every design.

Can it be applied to stretch fabric?

Send the actual fabric and describe the required stretch. A trial is needed to check the label construction and finished appearance before confirming the order.
