3D Silicone Labels for Sportswear & Teamwear

Develop raised silicone crests and logos for sportswear and teamwear. Review artwork, color placement, molding details and actual-fabric testing.

A team crest often combines symbols, small lettering, thin outlines and several colors. Turning this artwork into a raised logo requires more than copying the image into a production file.

3D Silicone Labels can give sportswear and teamwear logos visible depth. The finished result depends on the design, dimensions, mold and receiving fabric.

Why artwork review matters

Before mold development, review the overall size, letter height, spacing, color regions and intended raised levels. Closely spaced details may merge or become difficult to reproduce at the finished size.

The goal is to preserve the recognizable features of the original crest in a physical label. If adjustments are needed, they should be reviewed with the customer during sample development.

Color placement and surface finish

Club and brand colors are part of the identity. Provide complete color references and, where required, a physical standard. Several color regions can be developed within one design, subject to the construction.

Check the alignment around small lettering and fine outlines on a real sample. Specify the desired matte, glossy or other effect, because surface appearance can change how a color is perceived.

From artwork to a finished silicone crest

A project can include artwork review, manufacturability assessment, mold development, color preparation, silicone forming, finished-label inspection and application testing. The production approach may differ between designs.

Sending original artwork and material information at the start helps identify constraints before the sample is made.

Test on the actual sportswear fabric

Sportswear includes different fiber compositions, stretch levels, surface treatments and fabric structures. A label that looks attractive on its carrier still needs to perform on the intended garment.

Provide the actual production material for pressing trials where required. Confirm the suitable application conditions and agreed wash, adhesion and stretch criteria before bulk production. One press setting should not be assumed to suit every fabric.

Where raised silicone logos can be used

  • Training, running and fitness apparel
  • Outdoor apparel with a raised brand detail
  • Backpacks and bags
  • Fashion and casual garments with a 3D graphic
