What is a label?

Labels are tags, stamps, or details attached directly to a product, often containing necessary information about that product. In the garment industry, labels play an important role in providing information and positioning the brand

 

1. By Function

  • Information Labels:
    Provide details about size, material, care instructions, and product usage guidelines.
  • Brand Labels:
    Display the logo and brand name, enhancing brand recognition and value.
  • Warranty Labels:
    Ensure product quality and include warranty conditions.

2. By Material

  • Fabric Labels:
    Made from cotton, satin, or polyester, usually sewn or adhered to the product.
  • Thermal Transfer Labels:
    Printed directly onto the product using heat transfer methods, no sewing required.
  • Paper Labels:
    Commonly used as hang tags, easily removable.

3. By Attachment Method

  • Sewn Labels:
    Permanently stitched onto the product, offering durability and difficult to remove.
  • Adhesive Labels:
    Attached with adhesive, easy to apply and remove.
  • Hang Tags:
    Attached with strings, easy to remove when using the product.
